We handle the floors, the kitchen and the trash after you leave, so your last night does not end with a mop. Your security deposit still covers damage only, either way.
Add it when you book, or any time before your event.
That is the only add-on. Linens, dishes, glassware, bar equipment and rentals are yours to bring or hire, and we are glad to point you at the local vendors who do it well.
Check — accepted only if it reaches us at least three weeks before your event date. Make it out to Chem Cell Club, Inc.
Cash — required if you are booking inside three weeks of your event. Checks cannot be accepted that close in.
Card — coming soon; the online deposit goes live once the club's card processing is set up.
Payment is made in full at the time of booking — $750 rental plus the refundable $250 deposit, $1,000 in total. The $250 is returned after your event.
More than 90 days out: full refund of the rental fee. Inside 90 days: the rental fee is held as credit toward a future date within 12 months. The security deposit is returned in every case. Date changes are free once, subject to availability.
None required. A lot of venues make you buy a one-day event policy before they hand over the keys — we do not. That said, you are responsible for what happens at your event, so if you want the cover for your own peace of mind, a one-day policy is inexpensive.
Permitted, with no bartender requirement and no insurance to buy. Serve it yourself, hire someone, or let guests bring their own — that is up to you. In exchange we ask you to run a responsible event: nobody under 21 served, nobody over-served, and nobody driving home impaired. That responsibility sits with you as the renter.
No nails, screws, staples or adhesive tape on painted or finished surfaces. No glitter, confetti, rice or artificial flower petals. Candles are fine if they are fully enclosed in glass — no other open flame. No smoking indoors, no fireworks, and no pets other than documented service animals. Nothing gets altered on the electrical, plumbing or fire-safety equipment. Anything you put up, you take down before midnight.
We ask that amplified outdoor music winds down by 11 p.m. This is the club’s request rather than a county rule — the neighbors are close and we would like to keep them friendly. Indoor music may continue, doors closed. Your rental ends at midnight either way.
Damage beyond normal wear, trash left on site, decorations still hanging, kitchen left dirty when cleaning was not purchased, guests remaining past midnight, or a noise citation. We photograph the hall before and after and send you both sets.
Check your date, sign the agreement and place the deposit in about ten minutes.
